\nTwo Louisville teenagers were arrested Thursday after police said they assaulted and endangered four Swahili-speaking victims as they robbed them at gunpoint.<\/p>\n

Anya Miller, 19, is facing the following charges, according to court documents:<\/p>\n
Attempted Carjacking
\nTwo Counts of Assault (Complicity) – Second degree
\nTwo Counts of Enhanced Robbery – First degree
\nEnhanced Burglary – First degree
\nFour Counts of Wanton Endangerment – First degree<\/p>\n
Tyler Brown, 18, is facing the following charges, according to court documents:<\/p>\n
Attempted Carjacking
\nTwo Counts of Assault – Second degree
\nTwo Counts of Enhanced Robbery – First degree
\nEnhanced Burglary – First degree
\nFour Counts of Wanton Endangerment – First degree<\/p>\n
On Sunday, September 6, around 1:30 a.m., two victims were waiting next to a vehicle, the owner of which was sleeping inside the apartment, according to Louisville Metro Police Department officers.<\/p>\n
Brown and Miller, both armed with handguns, were seen on security camera playing a game of rock, paper, scissors before they approached the two victims, according to their arrest citations.<\/p>\n
Miller went to the driver’s side and pointed her handgun directly at the head of one of the victims while Brown pointed his handgun at the second victim’s head, according to police.<\/p>\n
One of the victims told police via an interpreter that they did not understand Miller or Brown because they only know a small amount of English, however, police said they “knew they did not want to be killed.”<\/p>\n
The victims put their hands up and allowed both Miller and Brown to search their person and the vehicle. One victim’s cellphone was taken and both teens wanted the keys to the car, but the keys were inside the apartment, according to authorities.<\/p>\n
While sitting inside the vehicle, Miller fired a shot over the vehicle towards the direction of the victims, according to her arrest citation.<\/p>\n
Miller and Brown then forced the victims to walk them into the apartment, holding them at gunpoint. On video surveillance, Brown is seen pistol whipping one of the victims in the face with the handgun.<\/p>\n
The two teens pointed their handguns to the backs of their victims and forced them inside the apartment where a third and fourth victim were sleeping. Miller and Brown demanded money and car keys and one of them fired a shot in the living room.<\/p>\n
One victim was still asleep before a shot was fired inside the apartment. He woke up to the noise, came out to the living room and was immediately struck in the face with a handgun, which knocked him unconscious, according to the arrest citations.<\/p>\n
One of the victims gave Brown and Miller his wallet and a box that contained $300. The teens then fled the scene and got in a vehicle.<\/p>\n
On September 10, an Louisville Metro Police Department detective was doing surveillance at St. Matthews Mall when he saw Brown and Miller leave in the same vehicle, which was caught on a security camera during the incident.<\/p>\n
Miller was arrested at her home and Brown was arrested at his place of work.<\/p>\n
Miller is being held at Louisville Metro Department of Corrections on a $250,000 bond. She is expected back in court for a preliminary hearing on September 21.<\/p>\n
Brown has not yet been arraigned and hasn’t had his bond set.
