in Shelbyville is set to receive millions in state funding to expand health care services.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In a release sent Tuesday, Shelby County Judge\/Executive Dan Ison announced that Baptist Health is set to receive $3 million in state funding designated for Shelby County. <\/p>\n<p>Pending a final vote by the Shelby County Fiscal Court, the funding is set to address local health care needs as Baptist Health develops plans for expansion.<\/p>\n<p>The proposed award is part of a $5.5 million appropriation by the Kentucky General Assembly from the budget reserve.<\/p>\n<p>Following final action by the Shelby County Fiscal Court, Baptist Health will work with county leaders to further develop the details and timeline for the proposed expansion project.<br \/>\nSource:
