\nA wet and rainy night did not dampen the spirits of the evening as about 350 seniors of the graduating class of Meade County High School gathered one final time as classmates for their graduation.<\/p>\n

The weather played a major determination of plans for families and school officials alike. After several hours of midday rain prompted school officials to look at a hard decision on where to hold the commencement ceremony. The rain ended around 5 pm allowing school leaders to make a final decision to proceed with plans to have the ceremony outside. As the 102 graduating class took to the field in procession a gentle rain fell on those in attendance. The ceremony was able to be completed without delays. Some family members gathered in the school auditorium to watch a closed circuit feed from Hamilton Field provided by WVIH.com, who also provided a live stream of the ceremony. <\/p>\n

The evening also included performances by the senior so of the Meade County High School Marching Band and Chorus members.
