According to Kentucky State Police, the double fatality happened at the intersection of Ky.84 and U.S. 31-W early Saturday morning.<\/p>\n
An eastbound 2008 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by 25 year-old Billy D. Williams of Louisville, pulled into the path of a northbound 2004 Freightliner crew cab flat bed truck and trailer, driven by 74 year-old Kenneth S. Pritchard of Horse Cave.<\/p>\n
Betty Gatson and Dashana Mainor was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hardin County Coroner\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
Billy Williams and another passenger in the car, 28 year-old Patrick Gatson, were airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital with serious injuries.<\/p>\n
Kenneth Pritchard was transported by Hardin County EMS to Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown with minor injuries. Another passenger in the truck, 66 year-old Gary Lee Dennison of Horse Cave, was not transported.<\/p>\n
