\nThe Brandenburg City Council met during a special called meeting Wednesday (6\/15) afternoon. The council presented the June “Yard of the Month” Award to Bill and Pat Corum.<\/p>\n

Mayor Ronnie Joyner and the committee members of the council presented the couple with a certificate from the city.<\/p>\n

The council approved a temporary business license for a fireworks stand along the Bypass. In other business, the council heard and the approved the second reading of a current fiscal year budget amendment ordinance, the 2016-17 Fiscal year budget ordinance and a ordinance to adjust the water and sewer rates for the new budget year.<\/p>\n

The next meeting of the Brandenburg City Council will be held during their regular meeting on July 11 at 7 pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
