A Louisville man is dead after a single-vehicle accident on KY 48 in Nelson County Sunday morning. Nelson County police responded to an injury accident on KY 48 in the 8500 block just before 9:30 Sunday.Officials say 65 year-old Roger Clayton Hood was driving east when his 1999 Corvette went off the right shoulder of the roadway. Hood over corrected the vehicle, causing it to go into a skid and strike an embankment. The car went into a spin before it came to a final rest in the ditch line. The Nelson County Coroner pronounced Hood dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
