A Bowling Green man was sentenced to 13 years in prison. The Warren Commonwealth’s Attorney says 27 year-old Christopher Kirby was sentenced in Warren Circuit Court Monday after entering an Alford Plea in July. Kirby was convicted of abusing his girlfriend’s three year-old son last November. The boy was first taken to the\u00a0Medical\u00a0Center, then flown to Vanderbilt.<\/p>\n
An Alford Plea means even though Kirby does not admit any guilt he agrees there is enough evidence against him for a jury to convict him.<\/p>\n
