A single vehicle accident sent one person to the hospital. According to the Meade County Sheriff\u2019s Department, the accident happened around 4:45 pm Friday (9\/18) in the 6300 block of Midway Road known as Kentucky 1239 about 2 miles South of Payneville.<\/p>\n
A 1993 Ford Ranger, driven by 18 year-old Tanya Scott of Payneville, was traveling north and using her cellphone causing her to drop off of the shoulder of the road. Scott over corrected her steering and overturned several times and hit a fence. <\/p>\n
Scott was treated at the scene by Meade County EMS and then was airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital for her injuries. The Payneville Fire Department also assisted at the scene.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
