\nTwo people were injured in separate accident Tuesday (8\/23) in Meade County.<\/p>\n

The Meade County Sheriffs Department and Brandenburg Police responded to a report on an accident in Brandenburg Station at the intersection of Kentucky 448 and 1638 around 3:30 am. When officers arrived at the scene they discovered a overturned vehicle next to the fuel pumps at the former corner gas station. No one was around the vehicle as police searched the area, a person involved in the accident was discovered near the intersection of Old Ekron Road and the Bypass. The person was taken to University of Louisville Hospital by Meade County EMS for their injuries. The Meade County Fire Department also assisted at the scene.<\/p>\n

The Meade County Sheriff’s Department responded to a two vehicle accident around 5:45 pm Tuesday evening in the 3900 block of Kentucky 1638 between Doe Valley and Lick Skillet. One of the vehicles involved briefly caught on fire but was extinguished by the members of the Meade County Fire Department. One person was taken to Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, Indiana by Meade County EMS for their injuries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
