\nA California-based company is bringing hundreds of jobs to Owensboro with the opening of its new customer service center.<\/p>\n
Alorica Inc. spokesman Greg Bush says the company will eventually hire 840 people for the center, which will be located in the BB&T Building.<\/p>\n
Alorica will become the city’s third-largest private employer in the county trailing behind Owensboro Health and U.S. Bank Home Mortgage.<\/p>\n
Bush says 90 percent of the jobs will be full-time. The first 500 will be hired within 12 months, with the rest being hired within three years.<\/p>\n
The center is expected to open sometime between April and June of 2017.<\/p>\n
The company, which has over 92,000 employees worldwide, says it offers a full range of solutions to more than 600 companies in various industries.
