\nMotorists can now access numerous online services from any computer or mobile device. Drivers can renew vehicle registrations, enroll in state traffic school, file trucking taxes or purchase driving history records.<\/p>\n

The site also allows commercial vehicle operators to apply for permits and drivers to pay license reinstatement fees. In addition, information tabs on the site\u2019s homepage provide details for accessing the status of commercial driver license (CDL) applications as well as for understanding mandatory insurance laws. These examples of the myriad services currently offered by the site are the result of the Department of Vehicle Regulation\u2019s desire to satisfy the needs of its customers.<\/p>\n

Last year, the Department of Vehicle Regulations launched the website to low fanfare and limited service capability. Now, the relaunched site has been expanded to offer more online services in a user- friendly platform. The Department of Vehicle Regulations continues to welcome motorists to visit their local Circuit Court Clerk and County Clerk offices, as well as the One-Stop Shop in Frankfort.<\/p>\n

The newly revamped website, http:\/\/drive.ky.gov<\/a>, was built at no-cost for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet through a public-private partnership with Frankfort-based Kentucky Interactive, LLC.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
