shooting Simpson County Sheriff&#8217;s Deputy Eddie Lawson appeared in Simpson Circuit Court Monday.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Ben Wyatt had his Pretrial Conference scheduled for October 24 at 9:00 am.<\/p>\n<p>According to the circuit court clerk&#8217;s office, during that hearing a date for a jury trial is expected to be set.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt is charged with attempted murder of a police officer, assault of a police officer, being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, and two counts of being a persistent felony
