The ban comes amid an ongoing recall on the smartphone after many devices exploded and caught fire.<\/p>\n<p>Samsung discontinued Galaxy Note 7 on Friday. The total expense of the recall is estimated to be at least $5.3 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Passengers who still attempt to board flights with a Galaxy Note 7 are subject to fines and may have their phone confiscated.
