A man indicted on Thursday for the July 8 shooting death and the assault of the victim’s brother turned himself in Friday and is out of jail after posting bond.
Prosecutors believe William Albright shot 29 year-old Cameron Pearson and 26 year-old Kyle Pearson in a parking lot at 5400 Valley Station Road, yards away from Albright’s business, Hard Shell Tactical. Cameron Pearson died of his injuries. Kyle Pearson was wounded and is still recovering from the bullet wound to his neck. He is expected to receive another surgery in the coming weeks.
Albright faces one count of murder and one count of first-degree assault.
A Jefferson County grand jury issued a bench warrant for the arrest of William S. Albright. Albright’s lawyer, Robert Shaefer, confirmed he turned himself in Friday night and is out of jail after posting a $35,000 bond.
Evidence and details about the shooting have not been released by the courts.
Albright’s arraignment is scheduled for Monday, September 28, at 1 p.m.
