A minor traffic mishap near Flaherty caused delayed traffic. According to the Meade County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened around 7:40 am Thursday morning (10/29) along Kentucky 1600,
when a 1996 Honda Accord driven by 25 year-old James Cundiff of Ekron, was traveling west and came upon a 2009 Buick LaCerne driven by 65 year-old Anna Bohannon of Elizabethtown and struck rear of her vehicle.
Cundiff told the investigating deputy that his windshield was fogged up. The collision caused Bohannon’s car to be spun around a off of the roadway and struck a guy wire of a utility pole. No injuries were reported due to the minor accident. Cundiff was cited for operating a motor vehicle on a suspended operators license.
