Ekron City Commissioners discussed and worked on several items during their regular monthly meeting Tuesday (2/2).
They discussed and approved keeping a tractor for city mowing operations. The tractor has been out of service for several months but the council voted in favor of keeping it until the value is ultimately determined.
Commissioners discussed the a request by the Ekron Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary to help with spring clean up items for a $500 donation to their group similar to last year. Mayor Gwynne Ison said that a date needed to setup and would be set for the city wide community give back day during their March meeting.
The Commission approved a request from City Treasurer Misty Trent to allow her to setup online banking for the city’s accounts to allow her easier access to conduct financial business for the city.
