Kentucky State Police arrested a Harned man on charges of sexual abuse involving multiple victims.
According to police, they received a complaint on March 28 from Social Services in regard to possible sex abuse allegations from two different victims. Upon the investigation, state police detectives arrested 38 year-old Charles “Vinnie” Smith of Harned on two counts of first degree sodomy and was lodged in the Breckinridge County Detention Center.
The investigation remains ongoing and more charges could be forth coming. Police ask that anyone with any information concerning these cases are asked to call Kentucky State Police in Elizabethtown at (270) 766-5078.
