
The Muldraugh City Council met during a special called meeting Friday (4/22) night for the purpose to review a property appraisal.
The council will all members present except for councilmen Cory Dresel and Robert Martingly, briefly discussed the findings of the recently conducted appraisal at 702 South Dixie. Mayor Joseph Noon told the council the appraisal $100,000 as it sets. The mayor sought a motion from the council to move forward with efforrs to lease the property. The motion made a approved unanimously.
Council members also discussed a summer hire to over see Class D inmates to mow areas of city rightways and property. Councilman Russell Cowins asked where yhe funds came from pay the part time employee. City clerk Caroline Cline answered that funds came from the city’s general fund.
The nex regular meeting of the Muldraugh City Council will be held on Monday, May 9 at 6:30 pm.
