A Hartford man has been charged with trafficking in prescription pain medication and carrying a concealed weapon.
According to the Ohio County Sheriff’s Department, received information regarding the location of a man they had been searching for in reference to selling Lortab on three separate occasions to a agent of the Ohio County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies and a Hartford Police Department officer located 38 year-old Thomas Bryant, May 9 in a parking lot in the 1100 block of U.S. 231 and took him into custody without incident. Officers seized cash, additional Lortab pills, empty Suboxone strips, several empty prescription pill bottles, a large buck knife and two of Bryant’s vehicles.
Bryant was charged with three counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense; carrying a concealed weapon; and prescription controlled substance not in proper container. He was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center.
