The Ohio County Sheriff’s Department has charged a Beaver Dam man with trafficking in Dilaudid.
Members of the Ohio County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Unit received information regarding the sale of Dilaudid pills in the 100 block of West Fourth Street in Beaver Dam. Detectives then observed a drug transaction take place at the location on May 9.
A short time later, police conducted a traffic stop on Madison Street in Beaver Dam. The driver, identified as 31 year-old Christopher Davis was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance/Dilaudid – first offense and second-degree possession of a controlled substance/Suboxone.
He was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center.
