The Brandenburg City Council met during a special called meeting Wednesday (6/15) afternoon. The council presented the June “Yard of the Month” Award to Bill and Pat Corum.
Mayor Ronnie Joyner and the committee members of the council presented the couple with a certificate from the city.
The council approved a temporary business license for a fireworks stand along the Bypass. In other business, the council heard and the approved the second reading of a current fiscal year budget amendment ordinance, the 2016-17 Fiscal year budget ordinance and a ordinance to adjust the water and sewer rates for the new budget year.
The next meeting of the Brandenburg City Council will be held during their regular meeting on July 11 at 7 pm.
