
Two people were killed in a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Dixie Highway and Battle Training Road in Radcliff on Saturday morning.
A flatbed truck, hauling lumber from L.K. Tapp and Sons building supply of Elizabethtown, and a white van were traveling northbound on Dixie Highway. According to the Radcliff Police Department, the van, driven by 50 year-old Charles Cox of West Point, hit the back of the truck. Cox and a passenger in the van, 34 year-old Tiffany Stott of Louisville, were killed. The driver of the truck, whose identity has not been released, was airlifted to University Hospital.
The intersection was closed for several hours while police investigated the crash and reconstructed the crash scene. Traffic in both directions was diverted off Dixie Highway onto South Wilson Road.
The accident remains under investigation.
