The Barren County Grand Jury has indicted a Leitchfield woman on a felony drug charge.
Ellen R. Sawyer, 35, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), endangering the welfare of a minor and disorderly conduct, along with several traffic-related offenses, after a March 20 traffic stop in Barren County.
Also indicted as Sawyer’s co-defendant,22-year-old Taylor Elizabeth Miller, of Smiths Grove, who was charged in the indictment with possession of a controlled substance, according to multiple media reports.
Miller is currently being held in the Barren County Detention Center on a $1,500 bond.
