A family of six was displaced Friday afternoon by a fire at their Vine Grove home.
Vine Grove Fire Chief Steve New said the department was called to a residence in the 100 block of South Hillcrest Drive, that was heavily damaged by fire, smoke and water.
Three fire departments, Hardin County EMS and the Vine Grove police responded to the blaze. The American Red Cross assisted at the scene. The cause of the fire is undetermined and remains under investigation.
