A Radcliff woman was arrested late Sunday afternoon and charged with assaulting a man as he slept by striking him in the head with a purple vase, police said.
Julie Harris, 40, is charged with second-degree assault. According to a warrant, Harris struck a man last Wednesday (6/14) night while he was sleeping on a living room couch at a residence they shared. The man suffered a cut on his forearm and left arm.
A large amount of shattered glass was found by Radcliff Police at the home where the man said he was hit. The base of the vase also was found at the home.
An arrest warrant was issued Sunday for Harris, who was found in a bathroom of an East Spring Street home in Radcliff. Harris was issued a third-degree criminal trespassing warning May 26 at the same residence. Harris is being held in lieu of a $2,500 cash bond in the Hardin County Detention Center.
