Kentucky State Police say the body found in Henderson County on Tuesday evening is that of a Elizabethtown man.
Trooper Corey King confirmed the identity as 80 year-old Charles Royal of Elizabethtown. King said a K9 found Royal’s body in a search area in Henderson County Tuesday (7/18) evening. Investigators say Royal’s truck was found abandoned along Mt. Vernon Road in Union County on Tuesday (7/18).
No details have been released yet on what may have caused Royal’s death, but investigators say no foul play is suspected at this time.
