A Vine Grove man was arrested after he fled from police on foot in Breckinridge County.
Around 4 P.M. Thursday (7/20) Irvington Police received a report of a suspicious vehicle along Irvington-Bewleyville Road. Officer Travis Dalton located the vehicle at a residence in the 1700 block of Irvington-Bewleyville Road, which was occupied by a male and female. As he attempted to talk with them, the male subject identified as 31 year-old Brandon Haynes of Vine Grove ran off into a wooded area headed toward Pleasant Valley.
After a short foot pursuit, Officer Dalton was able to apprehend Haynes and arrested him on parole violation warrant. Haynes also is expected to be charged with resisting arrest and fleeing or evading police. The female was also arrested at the scene on an outstanding warrant.
Both were lodged in the Breckinridge County Detention Center.
