Radcliff Police are investigating a homicide that occurred early Friday (08/04) morning.
According to Radcliff Police Chief Jeff Cross, police and EMS responded to Smith Street near Dixie Highway, just after 2 am, for a 34-year-old woman suffering from severe trauma. A person of interest in the case; 45-year-old Thomas Maxwell was questioned and was later charged violating a domestic violence order that the victim had taken out against Maxwell.
Investigators believe he was at the victim’s home and may have information about the murder. Maxwell was located about a mile from the murder scene, The victim has been identified as 34 year-old Samantha Miller. An autopsy is being conducted to determine a cause of death. The investigation remains ongoing.
