
Two people were killed Sunday afternoon in a head-on collision in LaRue County.
According to a Kentucky State Police, a vehicle driven by 26 year-old Jeremiah Williams, of Hodgenville, was traveling northwest on Kentucky 210 around 3:30 pm while it was raining. His vehicle crossed the center lane on wet pavement and collided with a vehicle driven by 78 year-old Wilma Brown, of Hodgenville. Neither driver was wearing a seat belt, according to police.
Williams was pronounced dead at the scene by the LaRue County Coroner’s Office. Brown was taken by ambulance to Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, where she was pronounced dead. The LaRue County Sheriffs Department, LaRue County Fire Department and LaRue County EMS assisted Kentucky State Police at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
