A former employee of Dart Container in Horse Cave was back in court this week, after being accused of putting glass shards in cups that were to be sent out to restaurants.
Waylon Horton pleaded not guilty to a superseding indictment of consumer product tampering. Horton’s case was dismissed at the state level, in order to proceed at the federal level. Horton’s single federal product tampering charge comes after he had been facing 139 counts of wanton endangerment, and 139 counts of possession of a destructive device at the state level.
A trial date has not been set.
