An Elizabethtown mother who is alleged to have drugs in her home, including in a bathroom that her two children use, was arrested Thursday (8/24) night.
Jessica Anne Abbott, 26, was charged with three felonies related to a July 21 incident at a North Main Street home she shared with at least two other adults.
Abbott agreed to a search of the home. Police found crystal methamphetamine, marijuana and orange-flavored liquid methamphetamine and a large amount of drug paraphernalia in various parts of the home, including a bathroom used by Abbott’s two children, who were at the home when Elizabethtown Police and Child Protective Services arrived.
Abbott is charged with two charges of first-degree wanton endangerment; first offense, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; along with misdemeanor counts of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Abbott is being held in lieu of a $5,000 unsecured bond in the Hardin County Detention Center.
