A search warrant led Crawford County deputies to more than 80 syringes inside a Milltown, Indiana home.
Deputies were following up on an earlier investigation, which led them to the home Friday (9/15) night. After several attempts to reach the homeowners, officers forced their way inside. They found 81 syringes, drug paraphernalia and other controlled substances.
Two children who were sleeping in the home at the time were placed with the Department of Child Services. Their mother, Jennifer Thompson, 37, was arrested along with David Mitchell, 44.
Officials said Mitchell was being sought on an outstanding warrant.
