
A Radcliff woman was arrested Wednesday (9/27) afternoon after police say she left her three children unattended in a running vehicle.
The vehicle was parked across from the Hardin County Justice Center in downtown Elizabethtown while she entered the building to pay a traffic ticket. Jessica Edwards, 31, now is charged with three felonies.
Three children, ages 3 and 1, were found alone in the backseat of the vehicle in a parking lot across East Dixie
Avenue across the Justice Center. The windows of the vehicle were up, the motor was running and the doors were unlocked, police said. The children, who were picked up by a relative.
Edwards is charged with three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment and was cited for driving on a suspended license.
