An inmate at the Grayson County Detention Center died at the facility on Wednesday (10/4) night.
Grayson County EMS was called to the facility late Wednesday night. The inmate was taken to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, where the male inmate was pronounced dead.
The prisoner was a federal inmate as the U.S. Marshals Service has been charged with notifying the family of the deceased inmate. The Grayson County Coroner’s Office took the body to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville. The investigation remains ongoing.
