A Radcliff man was arrested Monday (10/23) and charged with stealing a cellphone from a home on Pearl Street in the city.
Mark Livermore, 40, knocked on a door of a residence late Sunday night (10/22) and asked to use a phone, according to police. After a person provided a cellphone to use, he reportedly asked to enter the home. After being told no, he showed the woman a machete and asked, “You gonna call the cops to take me to jail?”
The woman ran out a back door and Livermore reportedly left the home with the cellphone.
He is charged with first-degree robbery. Livermore also is charged with two counts of failure to appear, which are misdemeanors. He is being held in lieu of a $10,000 cash bond in the Hardin County Detention Center.
