
Two homicide suspects at the center of a manhunt by Kentucky State Police have been arrested following a chase in Hardin County.
Robert Carter and Johnny Haynes, both of Millwood, were arrested in Glendale around 5:45 pm EDT Thursday (10/26), according to Kentucky State Police. Carter and Haynes sought by police after a homicide in Grayson County around 9 am CDT Thursday (10/26) morning at a home on Morgantown Street in Caneyville.
One person was found dead inside the house. The victim has been identified as 29 year-old James Parks The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office asked that KSP take over that investigation which led police looking the pair during the day. Police say the pair was spotted near the area of a bank robbery around 10 am CDT at Commonwealth Community Bank in Fordsville in Ohio County.
Thursday evening, Kentucky State Police got a tip that the men were in Elizabethtown. Police observed a truck Carter and Haynes were believed to be driving, and pursued the vehicle. The trooper used a legal intervention maneuver with his vehicle in Glendale and was able to get them stopped.
Carter and Haynes were arrested at the scene and face numerous charges related to the criminal activity.
