
An Edmonson County man who committed a heinous crime and was caught in the act by a sheriff’s deputy, last year, is convicted.
According to court records, Thomas Jaggers was found guilty of attempted rape, three counts of sexual abuse, burglary, wanton endangerment and resisting arrest, stemming from an attack in April of 2016.
Police walked in on Jaggers while he was assaulting the woman in Chalybeate.
Jaggers’ sentencing has been scheduled for January 17, 2018.
