A Grayson County man was arrested over the weekend on charges he sexually abused an infant female.
According to the Grayson County Sheriff’s Department, police were searching for 36 year-old James D. Armes of Millwood, on misdemeanor warrants out of Cumberland County, when they received information of the inappropriate contact.
Armes was located early Sunday (12/3) morning at a residence on Church Street, but he refused to comply with officer commands while being placed in custody. After being wrestled to the ground, Armes was secured without further incident.
He was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center on charges including sodomy, sexual abuse and resisting arrest. The statement from the sheriff’s office indicated Armes was already listed a sex offender in Kentucky in an unrelated case.
