Area law enforcement agencies are searching for a prison escapee that may have been spotted in Breckinridge County.
Breckinridge County Sheriff Todd Pate said 30 year-old Brandon Edwards walked away from the Blackburn Correctional Facility in Lexington. He was seen in the Rosetta Area, in the vicinity of Lonnie Haynes Road, Wednesday (12/6).
Edwards is described as a white male, with a shaved head, 5’ 10” tall, weighing 150 pounds. He was serving a 10 year sentence for burglary 3rd degree and theft by unlawful taking. Edwards may be driving a white Chevrolet pick up with a Kentucky State Seal on the door.
