
An Elizabethtown man faces multiple charges, following an early morning foot pursuit.
The Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Department was called to a report of a person inside a garage on Highway 261 South at about 7:30 am Wednesday (12/6) morning. The deputy encountered 32 year-old Patrick Burch, on foot, in a field, about two miles from Hardinsburg. While talking with Burch, he fled and was tasered, before being taken into custody.
Burch has been charged with two counts of burglary 1st degree, two counts of theft by unlawful taking, two counts of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, two counts of burglary 3rd degree, one count of fleeing or evading, and one count of theft of a firearm.
Burch is lodged in the Breckinridge County Detention Center.
