
A Millwood man accused of sexually abusing a baby will have his case sent to the Grayson County Grand Jury.
James Dean Armes, 36, was arrested in the early Sunday morning hours of December 3, after police received information that Armes had sexually abused a baby. He was also wanted on misdemeanor warrants out of Cumberland County.
During his preliminary hearing, officers testified to the images of child sexual abuse they observed on Armes’ cell phone upon his arrest. Armes’ location was given to the Grayson County Sheriff’s Department by his family members after they discovered the immensely disturbing images of Armes abusing the ten-month-old baby.
Armes, who is already listed on the Kentucky Sex Offender Registry, will have charges including first-degree sodomy, victim under the age of 12; first-degree sexual abuse, victim under the age of 12; possessing/viewing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor; resisting arrest; and menacing.
He is currently being held in the Grayson County Detention Center.
