Kentucky State Police arrested a Caneyville man after an extensive investigation involving child pornography.
Upon the findings of the investigation, State Police arrested 49 year-old Jeffery Elmore on charges related to promoting a sexual performance by a minor under 16 and possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.
Police began the undercover investigation after discovering the Elmore uploaded images of child sexual exploitation online. A search warrant was executed at a residence in Caneyville Tuesday (1/9), where equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to the state police forensic laboratory for examination.
Elmore is currently charged with promoting a sexual performance by a minor under 16, and two counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. He was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
The investigation is ongoing.
