
A Indiana man is facing charges after being stopped for speeding.
According to Breckinridge County Sheriff Todd Pate, just before 5 pm CST Tuesday (1/23) a vehicle driven by 26 year Kyle Schneider of Huntington, Indiana was stopped on U.S. 60 near the Breckinridge-Hancock County line for speeding.
Upon further investigation police found approximately 2.7 pounds of packaged marijuana in the passenger compartment of the car. Schneider was arrested on charges of trafficking in a controlled substance over eight ounces, marijuana first offence, and speeding ten miles over the speed limit.
Schneider was lodged in the Breckinridge County Detention Center. The investigation remains ongoing.
