
Elizabethtown Police are investigating the city’s first murder of the year after a man was shot multiple times at a apartment complex.
Police were called to a report of a shooting at outside of a apartment complex around 11 pm Sunday (2/4) night on Diecks Drive. Upon their arrival the found 20 year-old Xedric “C.J.” McNeil in the parking lot of the complex with multiple gun shots wounds. McNeil was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hardin County Coroner.
Upon their investigation, Elizabethtown Police say 29 year-old Charles Roberson Jr., of Elizabethtown, shot McNeil multiple times.
Police have an active warrant for Charles Roberson Jr. The pictures here were taken only hours before the shooting took place. Roberson remains at large, and should be considered armed and extremely dangerous.
