Authorities in Grayson County are investigating the discovery of several pounds of marijuana found at the post office in Caneyville.
According to the Sheriff’s Department, deputies were called to the post office on a report of a suspicious postal box, where 12 pounds of packaged pot was discovered. The weed has a reported street value of nearly 50-thousand dollars.
The discovery remains under investigation, but the department is asking the owner of the box to step forward and “claim” their material by coming to the Grayson County Sheriff’s Department during regular office hours.
