Members of Meade County Fiscal Court approved the purchase of a tractor during a special called meeting Tuesday (4/17) evening.
County Road Superintendent Jeff Padgett provided magistrates with requested information regarding new tractors at state bid pricing which originally discussed last week during regular meeting of Fiscal Court. After several minutes of review and discussion, the court voted unanimously to purchase a new John Deere tractor at state bid price.
The court adjourned after the vote on the only agenda item. After short special called meeting, magistrates conducted a work session to review and discuss the proposed 2018-19 budget. The next meeting of Meade County Fiscal Court is scheduled for Tuesday, May 8 at the Payneville Fire Department.
