The Ekron City Commission received positive feedback from the recent spring cleanup efforts.
Commissioners met during their regular monthly meeting Tuesday evening. Mayor Gwynne Ison said she had received many positive comments concerning the dumpster placement and volunteers donating time to clean the city streets and city park. The speed bumps were repainted also. Ekron Fire Chief Troutman shared the hope of a future expansion of the fire department expansion onto the building. No specific timing was provided on the plans.
The Ekron Commission is scheduled to meet next on Tuesday, June 5 at 6:30 pm at Ekron City Hall.
