An executive order from Meade County Judge Executive Gerry Lynn recognizes Friday (12/13) as Pius Gene Hobbs Day in Meade County.
The order is to remember and honor Hobbs, who died as a result of work place accident at the Meade County Road Department. The order is intended to promote Occupational Safety and Awareness in workplaces across Meade County. Flags are to be lowered to half staff during the day on Friday.
