In the attempt to navigate the fluid situation and reduce risk of exposure to the Corona virus, the Meade County Clerk office is offering alternate ways to conduct transactions.
As of right now, the Meade County Clerkâs office is open to the public. However, to minimize contact, the public has three options for renewal of their vehicle and boat registrations. First, online renewal is available for most vehicles at drive.ky.gov. Second, registration renewals may be mailed to Meade County Clerk, P O Box 614, Brandenburg KY 40108. Third, we can renew over the phone using your bank card by calling 270-422-2152.
Voters may continue to register to vote or update their addresses by submitting a new registration form online at www.govoteky.com. The deadline to register to vote in order to vote in the primary election is 4:00 PM on April 20, 2020. Voters who qualify to absentee vote by mail may call the office at 270-422-2152 to request an application.
If the decision is made to close the office, they will still be in the office taking your phone calls.
