Primary Election Results Finalized

After a delay over just over a month, the 2020 Kentucky Primary Election was finalized across state on Tuesday (6/30).

The emphasis on absentee and mail balloting due to the corona virus bolstered voter turn out across the commonwealth. In Meade County, the races shaped up as follows:

Republican US President: Donald Trump – 2,403 90.99%
Democratic US President: Joe Biden – 2,601 62.59%

Republican US Senate: Mitch McConnell – 2,112 83.05%
Democratic US Senate: Amy McGrath – 1,697 50.00%

Republican US 2nd District Congressional: Brett Guthrie – 2,184 83.81%
